This waterfall tumbles 80 feet into a round natural pool surrounded by wild ginger. Behind the waterfall is a cave, said to be the home of Hina, the mother of the god Maui. Rainbow Falls gets its name from the play of early-morning sunshine on the waterspray, which creates thousands of tiny rainbows.
