This complex comprises a history museum, a research library and archives, two historic houses, 33 acres of gardens and a restaurant. Four excellent permanent exhibits in the Atlanta History Museum bring the city's defining experiences to life. Be sure to visit the elegant 1928 Swan House (visit by guided tour only), designed by Philip Shutze. In contrast, the simple frame buildings of Tullie Smith Farm (1845) provide a glimpse into the lifestyle of an early Georgia farm family.
