Like the music it represents, this museum's geometric design (1995, I.M. Pei) is bold and energetic. Focal point of Cleveland's renewed waterfront since its opening in 1995, the Hall of Fame encompasses six levels of exhibits ranging from the roots of rock and roll to regional music scenes and the careers of individual artists. In the drum-shaped wing, the Hall of Fame (level 3) honors more than 140 rock legends with a multimedia production that incorporates music, film excerpts and taped interviews.
