Audubon House Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

The preservation of this Neoclassical house (1840s) sparked Key West's preservation movement in 1960. The home's preservation is dedicated to famed ornithologist John James Audubon, who visited here in 1832 while working on his authoritative volume Birds of America. The house feaures a fine collectiion of 28 original Audubon engravings, and a lovely tropical garden.
