Set in and around a tranquil lily pond, this memorial (dedicated in 1990) leads visitors through a circular plaza of pale pink Jerusalem stone designed as a series of outdoor passages. Names inscribed on the walls are reminder of lives lost to the Nazis during World War II. The centerpiece is Kenneth Treister's Sculpture of Love and Anguish, which comprises several bronze vignettes and a giant 42ft-high outstretched arm symbolizing the last reach of a dying person.
