This jam-packed facility is generally considered the best of Nashville's numerous "musems" of country music and its stars. Admission includes a tour of RCA's legendary Studio B, where Elvis Presley and Patsy Cline played the 1940s Steinway grand piano and guitarist Chet Atkins perfected a recording style that the world now recognizes as "the Nashville sound." Excellent temporary exhibitions draw from the museums permanent collection of sound and video recordings, photographs, costumes, instruments, personal artifacts and memorabilia.
