Grandma Moses (1860-1961), the beloved American folk artist who began to paint when she was 75, is the star attraction here. The museum contains 30 of her canvases, as well as extensive collections of Vermont-made art objects, including Bennington pottery aand the Bennington Flag, one of the oldest Stars and Stripes in existence.
