Beacon Hill Recommended Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
Beacon Hill started off as the province of Boston's high society, known as the Boston Brahmins, as well as the first community of African Americans. Virtually undisturbed by the passage of nearly two centuries, the "Hill" today remains one of the city's most prized neighborhoods. The best way to appreciate Beacon Hill is to stroll its charming cobblestone streets, where block after block of 19C town houses recall Federal-era Boston. Be sure to take in the stately homes along Beacon Streeta; lovely Mt. Vernon Streetaa; Louisburg Squareaa, a private park surrounded by Greek Revival bowfront houses; and Charles Streeta, the main shopping thoroughfare.
