This natural rock garden, covered with a variety of trees, wildflowers and ferns, rises above the Housatonic River. The Ledges Trail (round-trip 45min) passes through the cobble and follows the river. At station 17, cross the road and continue on Hulburt's Hill Trail to an open pasture on Miles Mountain (1,050ft) with a view of the Housatonic Valley.
