Dedicated to the legendary folk hero, this 5-acre site threaded by the Winooski River includes a reconstructed frame house believed to have been the final home of Ethan Allen. The modern visitor center houses exhibits on regional history and the escapades of Allen and his Green Mountain Boys. A re-created tavern in the center serves as the setting for a multimedia presentation.
