Along Block Island's southernmost tip is a series of spectacular multi-colored clay cliffs known as Mohegan Bluffs. Climb up a path (about 200ft elevation) and gaze out over the Atlantic. Wooden stairs descend to Mohegan Bluffs beach, secluded but pebbly; large, flat-topped boulders make a great place for a picnic.
