Located to the right of St. Louis Cathedral, this c.1790 building-originally called the Ecclesiastical House-was constructed on the site of the 1720 residence, or presbytere, of the Capuchin monks. Be sure to go inside to see the permanent exhibit Mardi Gras: It's Carnival Time in Louisiana, where you can become a virtual krewe member and ride on a Mardi Gras float.
