Retooled by the impresarios behind Indochine and BONDST, the new Acme looks wonderfully weathered and chic. Exposed brick and wood furnishings anchor this space fronted by a packed bar leading to the dining room fitted with rough-hewn plank flooring and studded leather banquettes. The kitchen offers a unique and refreshingly tempting menu, run by Danish chef, Mads Refslund, buzzed for having co-founded Noma with René Redzepi. Items from the "Soil" include roasted black heirloom carrots draped with lardo and squeezed with blood orange. The "Sea" brings gorgeous pan-roasted black sea bass set upon pickled green tomato wheels, touched by cardamom, while sides like hand-cut fries with a pale green oyster-and-chive mayo are bound to leave you beaming.
