Opened more than 20 years ago, this first China Grill continues to be a perennial favorite and serves as the flagship of Jeffrey Chodorow's international restaurant organization. The sprawling interior, designed by Jeffrey Beers, is housed on the ground floor of the CBS building and features a multi-level dining room of soaring 30-foot ceilings accented with white canopy light fixtures. The long bar area is a popular spot to unwind after a long day at the office. Large tables provide the perfect spot to dine with a group; the food is good, fun, and is best enjoyed when shared. Served family style, the Asian-influenced menu may include perfectly fried rice topped with creamy, diced avocado, or delicate pancakes generously filled with tender lobster.
