It is a lovely room-welcoming and affable-with an earnest staff. Decorated with colorful walls, black-and-white photos, and circular fixtures, the space feels festive. The large glass windows overlook a bustling intersection, and people-watchers vie for these seats. The menu features delicious classics, as promised by the surrounding "oohs and aahs. " Pretty tables are set with finery, enhancing that roasted spiced monkfish atop green lentils; cured Spanish mackerel beside a warm potato salad; and a gooey chocolate almond cake laced by lemon cream.
