Adjacent to SeaWorld, this new 30-acre marine park (opened in 2000 by SeaWorld's parent company, Busch Entertainment Corp.), provides visitors a one-on-one encounter with bottlenose dolphins as well as other sea and land creatures (minimum age for dolphin encounters is 6 years). Discovery Cove comprises a series of neighboring pools and lagoons amid sand beaches and a tropical landscape of towering palms and thatched huts.
