During this 3-hour-long walking seminar you will have the chance to discuss and understand the great changes as well as the social and political upheaval that took place in Philadelphia during the last half of the 18th century. You'll visit relevant local sites, such as the post office at Franklin Court, Christ Church, and the American Philosophical Society. Your historian guide will focus on discussing Franklin's work as an inventor and manager, as well as the role he played in the Revolutionary War, international diplomacy, and the Continental Congress.
