Christ Church Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

This elegant Georgian brick edifice (1754) boasts a tower and a "Philadelphia steeple." The church's Royalist congregation changed dramatically during the Revolution, when George Washington and 15 signers of the Declaration of Independence worshipped here. The 600-year-old baptismal font in the back of the church first served in an Anglican church in London; the infant William Penn was baptized in it.
