Bibendum
This steepled Georgian brick building (1756) was constructed as the Pennsylvania State House. In May 1775, delegates of the Second Continental Congress met here to determine the colonies' response to increasing British hostility. The following year, the Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence in the hall, which also saw the adoption of the ARticles of Confederation in 1781 and the ratification of the US Constitution in 1787.
