The half-timbered walls and leaded windows of this home were originally part of a Tudor and Stuart estate in Lancashire, England. Dating to the late 15C, the house was saved from demolition by Richmond scion T.C. Williams, who in 1926 had it dismantled and used its pieces to build a home in the Windsor Farms neighborhood he was developing. Today the house functions as a museum, interpreting life in an English manor house during the 16C and 17C. The 23-acre site features five separate English-style gardens.
