Your trip to D.C. will not be complete until you have your photo with President Barack Obama and put your feet up in the exact replica of the Oval Office. At Madame Tussauds' interactive wax attraction in the heart of downtown, be a star among cultural and political icons. Don't forget your camera!
Flash your pearly whites next to President Barak Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, and see how it would feel to be president for a day when you snap a photo in an exact replica of the White House's Oval Office. Starting February 17, 2011, The Presidents Gallery at Madame Tussauds Washington D.C. will be the only place in the world to take pictures with all 44 U.S. Presidents. Discover fun facts about the all the presidents and test your historical knowledge of political and cultural figures with the interactive experiences in nearly every room. Listen to monumental moments in history like Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, and take a seat on the bus next to Rosa Parks.
With a peek "Behind the Scenes," learn about the painstaking creation, sculpture, and maintenance of the incredibly life-like wax figures as well as the 250-year-old history of the museum's founder, Marie Grosholtz Tussaud. Finish off your self-guided tour by dancing with Rhianna and Beyoncé in the Glamour room, walking the red carpet with such A-List celebrities as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, and George Clooney, and getting interviewed by Joan Rivers, Larry King, and Katie Couric in the Media Personalities room.
