To the amateur photographer, Washington D.C. presents a spectacular array of subject matter. Join a professional architectural photographer for a memorable photographic excursion through the heart of the nation's capital.
The buildings of Washington D.C. make for first-rate architectural photography. Join E. David Luria, a professional architectural photographer, for a 3-hour workshop on how to capture the capital on film.
Begin in Lafayette Park with a 35-minute orientation on basic photography techniques, then follow your guide to a series of landmark photographic destinations, including the White House, the Executive Office Building, the Washington Monument, and the stately architecture of the American Red Cross and Constitution Hall buildings.
The safari also includes entry to Renwick Gallery (which happens to be a Smithsonian Museum), where participants will learn how to take indoor museum photographs without a flash or a tripod. Before the tour's conclusion, participants will have the opportunity to photograph the newly-built World War II Memorial and other neighboring landmarks.
