Housed in the Department of Commerce building, this small aquarium is the nation's oldest. The aquarium's tanks house some 1,500 specimens of aquatic life, including sea turtles, lemon sharks, piranhas, moray eels and lungfish. A touch tank allows visitors to handle such marine life as sea urchins and hermit crabs, and a theater features presentations on the underwater world. Piranha feeding occurs Tue, Thu and Sun at 2pm. Alligator feeding takes place on Fridays at 2pm.
