Nestled in a 200-acre valley, Old Bethpage is an active farm community that re-creates a pre-Civil War American village. More than 55 historic buildings reflecting the architectural heritage of Long Island have been moved to the site of the former Powell Farm. Take a leisurely stroll through the village to observe the weaver making cloth, the farm wife preparing a meal and farmers working their fields. Depending on the time of year, you can also watch sheepshearing, cider making and other seasonal activities.
