The evolution of the Rio Grande valley, from pre-Columbian tribes through Coronado to the present, is chronicled in the fine Four Centuries exhibit at this Old Town museum. An extensive collection of Spanish Colonial artifacts includes religious tapestries, maps, coins, arms and armor. Galleries of contemporary art highlight works by New Mexico artists; a sculpture garden and an photo archive also are featured.
