Kaufmann) of brown-gray stone built by oil millionaire Edward L. Doheny for his son, Ned. The house, popular as a movie (Batman) and television set, is closed to the public, though visitors can walk around its perimeter. The garden, designed by Paul Thiene, affords panoramic views of the city.
