Five dozen paintings by Charles M. Russell and Frederic Remington (the latter known best for his bronze sculptures) are showcased in this Sundance Square museum. Pieces include Remington's Self-Portrait on a Horse (1890) and The Puncher (1895), and Russell's Returning to Camp (1901) and The Tenderfoot (1900), the latter a comic piece that portrayed the urban East meeting the rugged West. The paintings were the personal collection of billionaire oilman Sid W. Richardson (1891-1959).
