This lovely, French Renaissance-style residence was erected in 1903 by pioneer developer M. Theo Kearney, who employed extensive canal systems to convert large tracts of land surrounding Fresno from pasture to intensively cultivated orchards and vineyards. Today the mansion exhibits many of its original furnishings, including Art Nouveau-style light fixtures and wall coverings imported from France.
