Meux Home Museum : Michelin's recommendations

This elaborate Victorian mansion (1889) was considered the finest in Fresno at the time of its construction. The house was built by Dr. Thomas R. Meux, an ex-Confederate Army surgeon who settled here after the Civil War. Restored as a museum in 1973, the home is appointed with period decorations and furnishings. Victorian-era plants and flowers flourish in the gardens.
