In 1993 the Hilton Corporation razed the Flamingo's original motel-style buildings (created by gangster Bugsy Siegel), with its false stairways and bulletproof office. Today the Flamingo comprises six towers of guest rooms, a wedding chapel, and a wildlife habitat. Gladys Knight, and The Second City comedy troupe perform here.
