Depart from Los Angeles and head south along the sunny California coastline. Stop at La Jolla cove and watch the waves drift onto the coast from the mighty Pacific Ocean. See the home to the new wave of the young, rich, and successful in a city playfully called 'The New Beverly Hills.”
Make your way down to San Diego, the second largest city in California. Stop at Seaport Village and discover why San Diego ranks amongst the top cities to live. Board the U.S.S. Midway, a retired aircraft carrier which has been converted into a museum, and embark on an unforgettable adventure to sea – without leaving the port. Explore more than 60 exhibits with a collection of 25 restored aircraft.
Continue to Coronado Island to see The Del Coronado – an historic hotel and the largest all-wood building in the United States. The hotel has been host to many well-known people, including U.S. presidents and movie starts. The hotel was featured in Marilyn Monroe's film Some Like It Hot.
End the day in Old Town, where the first Spanish village was founded in 1769. See the original settlement, and visit the Bazaar del Mundo world market for souvenirs. Return to Los Angeles in the evening.
