The world's largest cattle market, this historic district has been restored to early-20C glory. More than 102 million cattle have been herded through here. Visitors can see a live cattle auction, Monday and Tuesday at the Oklahoma National Stock Yards Company, or watch craftsmen making saddles, boots and other Western wear: Langston's has the state's best selection. The "3-3" brand in the Cattlemen's Steakhouse, an institution since 1910, represents the "hard six" that rancher Gene Wade threw to win the restaurant in a 1945 dice game.
