Hearst Castle architect Julia Morgan designed this 1929 building for the YWCA, next to the Mission Revival-style Riverside Municipal Auditorium. Traveling exhibitions-which supplement a wall dedicated to the museum's own holdings-have included exhibits on California missions, Chihuahuan pottery, and James McNeill Whistler's etchings and lithographs.
