Cuisine Steakhouse

More than $75

There may be no better way to start a fun yet swanky steakhouse meal than with a trio of crisp duck-fat fries with seasoning and sauce pairings—think vanilla-parsley fries with sour-cherry ketchup. The primo space is perched up a short flight of stairs on one side of the Westin St. Francis's lobby, where a heavily marbled entrance leads to a stylish bar and spacious dining room filled with columned pillars, soaring ceilings, and a business crowd using their expense accounts. Tables are laden with contemporary steakhouse fare like ultra-tender barbecue short ribs with kimchee and sides like potato purée in copious amounts of butter and cream. Pricey steaks and Wagyu by the ounce are rounded out with Michael Mina signatures, such as lobster pot pie.
