Embark on a guided adventure of Mt. Rainier, and experience all it has to offer. Discover the slopes of this active volcano boasting a variety of wildlife, old growth forests, glaciers, waterfalls, and much more.
Travel toward what locals simply call 'the mountain.” As you approach Mt. Rainier, an active volcano, the city fades away and forests, wildlife, and hints of snow will take over. As you venture further up the 14,411-foot (4,392.5-meter) peak, be on the lookout for coyotes, elk, deer, and bears with the help of your naturalist guide. Take a big gulp of fresh alpine air and learn about the old growth forests, lakes, and waterfalls that dominate the landscape. Be sure to take photos.
Hike along the Nisqually Vista trail with your guide, or if you're up for it, maybe something more challenging. On a winter day, you may even need to strap on snowshoes! Your day includes morning and afternoon tea as well as an 'on safari” lunch served with Washington wines and refreshments.
