Housed in a weathered 1910 stone-and-brick train depot, the museum serves as a departure point for 2hr rides on vintage electric trolley cars that clatter through Yakima and out into the countryside. Exhibits consist mainly of the train cars themselves-a c.1909 freight locomotive, a c.1923 Steeplecab locomotive and streetcars from different eras. The museum also contains a c.1910 belt-driven machine line still used today to maintain the equipment. The rides take in much of Yakima, then head north through fruit country to the town of Selah.
