The size of this small museum, which opened in 1989, belies the scope of its holdings. They include a fine international fossil collection with specimens ranging in age from 10,000 to 1.9 billion years old. Other exhibits depict Northern California's natural history, including a 50gal tidepool tank, butterflies, marine invertebrates and live native animals.
