The drive along West Side Road leading to the park hugs the rocky coastline of the island dramatically. In the small park, anchored by the 1917 Lime Kiln Lighthouse, you can walk down along the cliffs and tide pools and take time out for whale-watching. The park faces Haro Strait, a favorite cruising spot for pods of orcas and minkes who spend their summer months in Puget Sound waters.
