Housed in a hangar at the first site if Donald Douglas Aircraft Co., this museum was closed temporarily in 2002 due to economic concerns. A $2 million capital campaign was undertaken to help re-open the doors. The collection includes 45 vintage aircraft, many restored to flight condition. Other features include the California Aviation Hall of Fame, films, models and other educational materials.
