Da Nang : Michelin's recommendations
Once known as Tourane, this town was an important base for the French and, later, the Americans. Situated south of Hué along the South China Sea, it is the third largest port and the fourth largest city in Vietnam, although it is not much visited by tourists. Its main highlights are the Marble Mountains and the famous Cham Museum. Da Nang also boasts some remarkable colonial architecture, a bustling market, interesting religious buildings and idyllic white sandy beaches.
