Ha Tien
: Michelin's recommendations
Lying on the Gulf of Thailand in southwest Vietnam, Ha Tien is surrounded by attractive natural scenery. Phuong Thanh Street crosses the town centre from north to south and is home to its main religious buildings, such as the Sac Tu Tam Bao Tu pagoda, the Roman Catholic church and the Phu Dung pagoda. It leads to the foot of Binh Son hill, which offers superb views of the town and the eastern coastline. A pontoon bridge links Ha Tien to the Hon Chong peninsula with its lovely beaches.
