Thach Dong Pagoda
: Michelin's recommendations
The Thach Dong pagoda (“cave pagoda”) is an astonishing and colourful structure built inside a cavity in a limestone cliff. It houses a statue of Ngoc Hoang, the Jade Emperor of the Taoist religion, as well as a statue of Quan Am. A gentle, refreshing breeze passes through the cave creating an enchanting musical effect. A small stele at the entrance commemorates the massacre of 130 civilians by the Khmer Rouge on 14 March 1978.
