Both the architecture and the exhibits of this museum make it well worth a visit. Situated in the old French Quarter, the museum was built in the 1920s in a developing architectural style which combined international, colonial and local influences. Inside the museum, don’t miss the Cham statues dating from the 7C-11C, the statues of Buddha from the late 18C, and the magnificent ceramics from the 14C-15C and 17C-18C. The watercolours depicting the court are also of interest.
