Sapa : Michelin's recommendations

An old hill station once frequented by French colonists, Sapa is now a popular base for hikes into the mountains which surround the town and which separate Vietnam from China. Footpaths lead across soft green rice paddies dominated by some of the highest mountains in the country, culminating with Phan Si Pan at an altitude of 3 143m.
