The slopes of this 197m-high hill to the south of the bay are carpeted in forests, at the foot of which a wide boulevard follows the Petite Corniche (6km), with several fine viewpoints along its course. Since 1910, a lighthouse here has guided the entry of boats into the port. The view is quite magnificent, but for obscure security reasons visitors are prohibited from taking photos from the top of the lighthouse.
