The An Giang museum has four rooms devoted to the war, the development of the region since 1975, the Vietnamese, Chinese, Khmer and Cham cultures in the region (arts and crafts, clothing), as well as the Indianised kingdom of Funan. In particular, it displays a variety of 5C-6C exhibits from the ancient city of Oc Eo, including lingas, yoni, pottery, small statues, and a magnificent, albeit badly damaged, wooded statue of the Buddha.
