This promontory in the southwest of the country is home to extensive stretches of sand, coconut palms providing welcome shade, and crystal-clear water. The most popular haunts for visitors are the Hon Chong and Duong beaches, and the island of Nghe. Unfortunately, a certain amount of rubbish is visible around a hotchpotch of straw huts, somewhat marring the scene. Visitors here should also make for the hang pagoda, tucked away 2km from Hon Chong.
